Hi, I’m Robbin Farr, and 10 poetry notebooks is a weekly writing space devoted to poetry, process, and the small daily practices that keep us tethered to creativity.
This is not a newsletter for polished performance. It’s a place for presence, poetic curiosity, and beginning again. I believe poetry is a practice — one that deepens through attention, encouragement, and community.
Thank you so much for this, Robbin. I drank down every word and felt that itch in my fingertips for clean, blank pages in a notebook. H.R.
Who’s at the helm?
I’m a poet, writing mentor, and the founder and former editor of River Heron Review, an online poetry journal I led for eight years. During that time, I read thousands of poems and curated hundreds for publication — work that continues to shape how I read, write, and think about craft.
I also lead workshops for poets, helping writers refine their voice, strengthen their lines, and reconnect with their creative instincts.
10 Poetry Notebooks grows from that experience — but slower, quieter, and more personal.
You stir up our imagination. Thank you. A.
